Alaska Bairdi Snow Crab

Here are two species of Snow Crab harvested in Alaska, Opilio and Bairdi. Bairdi Snow Crab is the premier crab between the two. When you order Alaska Bairdi Snow Crab from the Crab Broker, your not just getting the same old run-of-the-mill crab. A long-time favorite of the crabbing industry, Alaska Bairdi Snow Crab is sweeter than Alaska Red King Crab, with a lighter and more leicate texture.

Bairdi clusters are graded for clean shell and are available in two size grades, clusters weighing 8 to 12 ounces each and then clusters weighing over 12 ounces, typically 12 to 16 ounces.

 

Just like our Alaska Red King Crab, our Bairdi is processed in Dutch Harbor by the same processor with whom we have a long-standing relationship. We take great pride in assuring you that we know where your crab has been from the minute it leaves the ocean until it arrives at your door.
